# Account Settings: Default Capture Settings

You can change the default values used when creating a new capture. You can change the default browser, list of e-mail recipients, default apps used, etc. Go to _Account_, and scroll down to the _Default Capture Settings_.  Any change you make here will be used for new captures, it will not affect existing captures. Don't forget to **Save**!
